The Northfield Flag Football League is searching for TEAMS for the upcoming fall season. We are an adult men's Flag football league that has been in existence since 1989.

The season starts in late Aug, with games played every Sunday morning. Players from various places -Chicago to suburbs. Every Sunday, games are held at Schiller Park Forest Preserve on Irving Park road between Cumberland and River road, and other various locations in Suburbs and the city.

We have over 60 teams with three divisions ABC, D elite and D competitive. This league was founded on the basis of attracting competitive players that are looking for fun and exciting football. On May 30 in Memphis, Tennessee, a group of women united to ring in the inaugural season of a new adult flag football league. The Bessie Cotton Ladies Flag Football League kicked off with a jamboree at Ellendale Park. Whether they participate for the love of the game, for the exercise or for the camaraderie, the six teams go head-to-head each week to try and come out on top.

At a university where football is an integral part of the culture, it isn't surprising that nearly 90,000 fans come out to watch a spring scrimmage. What may be surprising, however, are the 20,000 that show up to watch the flag football game beforehand.
